Music fans are remembering the legacy of a rock and roll legend who was buried in New Orleans.
Family and friends gathered yesterday at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church to say goodbye to Dave Bartholomew who passed away on June 23rd at the age of 100.
Bartholomew was a music producer, songwriter, and an arranger who helped Fats Domino top the charts and was inducted into both the Rock and Roll and the Songwriters Halls of Fame.
A group of trumpeters played during the Blue Monday ceremony, which was then followed by a private burial.
