The closure of the Bonnet Carre Spillway is delayed yet again.
The Army Corps of Engineers says that rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Barry is to blame.
They now expect to begin the process on July 28th.
Many fishers and experts are worried about the continued damage to the local ecosystem from freshwater due to the spillway, and hope to have it closed sooner rather than later.
