Four NOPD officers are now permanently off the job and two others are suspended in connection with a deadly crash.
The New Orleans Police superintendent announced the firings and suspensions yesterday.
An investigation was launched after a police chase in March ended with the death of a 14 and 16-year-old and a 54-year-old woman.
An investigation found the officers violated the department's policies by engaging in a pursuit without prior authorization and by not using their body cameras until after the crash.
