For the next four weeks, the intersection of Bourbon Street and Dumaine Street will be closed to vehicle traffic as new utilities are installed.
Crews began the next phase of the infrastructure improvement project today, where they'll be replacing the crumbling water and sewer lines.
Roadways and sidewalks on Dumaine Street in that area will also be replaced.
The work project is currently about 70% complete.
