Terrebonne Deputies Warn Of Dangers Associated With Fake Guns

Terrebonne Parish deputies are warning about the dangers associated with fake guns.

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office made a Facebook post on Tuesday warning that the replicas can be mistaken for a real gun, leading to tragic and deadly results.

The post detailed a recent incident involving eleven and 13-year-old kids with BB guns that didn't have orange safety tips.

Officials say the deputy used his training and experience to handle the matter safely for both himself and the kids, but it could have had a different ending.
