Police say they have arrested a man who allegedly assaulted comedian Andy Dick earlier this week in the French Quarter.
David Hale was booked into the Orleans Parish Jail yesterday on a charge of simple assault.
Officials say a tip led to the arrest of Hale who is believed to be the man who punched the entertainer in the back of the head outside of One-Eyed Jacks last Saturday.
Hale claims the comedian groped him by genitals before the attack although video of the incident does not show anything other than the punch.
