LSU tweeted Tuesday afternoon that LSU Police were investigating an armed intruder on campus in Coates Hall, adding that those in the area should "Run, Hide or Fight".
Reports from Baton Rouge added that Coates Hall was evacuated and that nearby buildings were on lockdown.
Shortly before 5 p.m., LSU tweeted that LSU Police had determined there was no threat and the campus was resuming normal operations.
