A shooting in New Orleans East leaves a pregnant woman and her unborn child dead, and a man injured.
Police say the man was sitting in front of a home on the 47000-block of Viola Street when another man shot him, and the woman inside the house, at around 9:30 last night.
Multiple sources told NOLA.com that the woman was pregnant and both she and the fetus died at the scene.
The man was taken the hospital in unknown condition.
Police have not named a suspect.
