Officials say they have taken a man into custody for impersonating a police officer and urinating on a person's car.
Police confirmed yesterday that Christian Gross surrendered himself to authorities on Sunday in connection with an incident in Mandeville last week.
Witnesses say Gross became angry that a gas station bathroom was locked, went outside and urinated on a car, while producing a badge and claiming to be a cop.
Gross is a former Jefferson Parish Sheriff's correctional officer but left his position in July.
