Popeyes Announces They Have Run Out Of New Chicken Sandwich

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Incorporated, the parent company of Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits, says they have sold out of their new chicken sandwich.

The restaurant chain announced on Twitter yesterday they had run out of the sandwich at all of their locations nationwide.

The sandwich, which features a new Orleans-style fried chicken on a brioche bun with pickles, was launched on August 12th and quickly became popular.

Popeyes was founded in the Arabi suburb of new Orleans in 1972 as Chicken on the Run and currently has over 2,000 locations around the world.
