Tulane Officer Involved In Shooting Incident Placed On Administrative Leave

A Tulane Police Officer is on administrative leave as officials look into an incident where he shot at a fleeing suspect on campus.

The Tulane Police Department confirmed yesterday they had put the officer on leave while the NOPD Force Investigation Team conducts a review of the shooting.

Officials say the officer was chasing a person wanted for indecent exposure and fired his weapon when the suspect attempted to use a car to run the officer over.

The suspect was later arrested and is currently in custody.
