Violent Weekend Rocks New Orleans

It was an incredibly violent weekend in New Orleans with more than a dozen shot across five neighborhoods over the weekend.

The first shooting took place on Friday afternoon around 5 p.m. when a 41-year-old man was shot while he was walking down the street.

A few hours later, another man was found unresponsive in his vehicle due to gunshot wounds in New Orleans East. He later died.

Around 10:30 on Friday night, gun shots rang out in Mid-City, injuring five and killing one, all between the ages of 16 and 21.

Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, four more people were injured in a shooting in St. Claude, before one other was injured and another killed on Saturday Night in Desire.
