Handcuffs And Fingerprints

A five-month, multi-agency operation to make sure convicted sex offenders in New Orleans are complying with the law ended this month with 69 arrests.

Starting in April carrying through last week, the US Marshal Service conducted nearly 250 compliance checks on sex offenders in the area as part of "Operation NOLA Saints and Sinner 2019."

Those checks resulted in 69 arrests and the recovery of multiple missing or endangered children.

The Task Force is searching for two other registered sex offenders, Jeremiah Shawn Prater and Kendrick Dimitri Perkins, who are wanted on multiple registration violations and are considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on whereabouts of either man is asked to contact police.
