The 21-year old man accused of killing Mandeville Police Captain Vincent Liberto is being denied bond.

Mark Spicer appeared in court on Tuesday on multiple charges including first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated flight, and possession of stolen property.

Spicer was denied bond on the murder charge and issued a $165,000 bond on the non-capital offenses.

Officials say Spicer fatally shot Liberto and wounded another officer last week during a traffic stop and police pursuit.
