The American Queen Steamboat Company is announcing it will add a third vessel to its fleet.
The American Countess will join the American Queen and the American Duchess in the New Orleans to Memphis steamboat cruises.
It will set sail in April 2020 and will be able to hold up to 260 passengers and 100 crew members.
The boat is being built in Houma by a subsidiary of Gulf Island Fabrication using the hull of the Kanesville Queen gambling boat.
