New Orleans, Baton Rouge Ranked Among Bottom For Growth

A new study says there's a number of cities in Louisiana that are ranked among the bottom in terms of growth.

WalletHub compared 515 cities across the U.S. with various population sizes based on 17 key metrics to determine the fastest growing cities in the last seven years, including population growth and unemployment rates.

Coming in at dead last on the list at 515 is Shreveport.

Baton Rouge came in at 500, Kenner at 462, Lafayette at 443, Metairie at 363 and New Orleans at 282.

Lake Charles had the best ranking out of any Louisiana city, coming in at 98.
