One person is injured after a possible tornado touched down this afternoon in Geismar.
According to the National Weather Service, the possible tornado was detected at 12:01 p.m. as a stretch of severe weather made its way across southeast Louisiana.
The injury was said to be the result of falling bricks caused by the storm. Officials are working to secure more details.
