The Societe des Champs Elysee is canceling the 2020 Twelfth Night celebration due to the collapse of the Hard Rock Hotel.
The small parade helps launch Carnival season in New Orleans with a ride on the Rampart-St. Claude street car line, however, the line is currently out of service and will not be up and running again by January.
Although the Societe des Champes Elysee will cancel their ride, the ride of the Phunny Phorty Phellos on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line will continue as scheduled on January 6th.
