Endymion Drunk Driver Receives 90-Year Prison Sentence

The man charged with murder for plowing through a crowd of cyclists while drunk is being given the max sentence of 90 years in prison.

Judge Laurie White handed down the sentence to Tashonty Toney yesterday.

Officials say that on March 2nd, Toney attended the Endymion parade, celebrating his birthday with tequila.

Later that evening, the 32-year-old plowed his car into a crowd of cyclists on Esplanade Avenue killing two people and injuring seven others.
