The White House says President Donald Trump will make a stop in Louisiana next week to campaign for Republican gubernatorial candidate Eddie Rispone.
White House officials said yesterday the President would be at the Monroe Civic Center on November 6th for a rally.
A businessman with no previous political experience, Rispone is running to defeat incumbent Democrat John Bel Edwards, who was elected governor in 2015.
The run-off election is scheduled for Saturday, November 16th. Early voting begins this weekend.
