The Archdiocese of New Orleans is facing two new lawsuits after a list of abusive clergy was released.
Officials say an Orleans grand jury is looking into allegations of clergy abuse and could bring criminal charges this week to at least one former clergy member.
The archdiocese has not commented on the new litigation but released a statement saying that they are continuing to investigate the allegations.
The news comes as this week marks one year since the Archdiocese of New Orleans released the list of 57 credibly accused abusive clergy members.
