Officials Say Traffic Change At New Airport Terminal Already Seeing Results

Officials say they are seeing results after changing the traffic pattern on I-10 at the new Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

DOTD crews laid down white paint yesterday to create a second turning lane heading eastbound into the airport.

The change was made following reports of multiple accidents on the first day the new terminal opened.

Kenner Police said the change is already producing results and the DOTD plans to continue to monitor the area.
