A new study is showing that citizens of Louisiana have more flu-like related illnesses than any other state right now.
According to physicians at the Mid-City Ochsner Urgent Care, right now they are seeing five to 15 patients come in daily with symptoms.
The doctors say the best way to stay healthy is to get the flu shot even if you've already had the flu.
Residents can receive a free flu shot, courtesy of Louisiana Department of Health, Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Baton Rouge Parish Health Unit at 353 North 12th Street.
