State officials are re-opening some of its main Office of Motor Vehicles locations today.
State Police said yesterday that technicians have been working to restore downed OMV services over the weekend and plan to open eight of the department's main branches a week after the cyberattack crippled Louisiana.
The OMV on 100 Veterans Boulevard is one of the locations expected to open.
Officials are urging people to only conduct vital and time-sensitive business until the department fully opens.
