(New Orleans, LA) -- More than three hundred attorneys and legal professionals are supporting a Louisiana abortion law that will soon be examined by the Supreme Court. The legal pros who submitted the amicus brief with the high court yesterday have one thing in common: they have all had abortions. The brief signers say they filed the amicus on behalf of those not formally part of the June Medical Services vs. Gee case which goes before the Supreme Court in March. The law in question involves a requirement for abortion providers to have admitting privileges.
