One of the three people on the ground injured in Saturday's plane crash in Lafayette is being treated for severe burns in New Orleans.
According to her husband, Danielle Brit is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days at University Medical Center and doctors say she could be in the hospital for weeks.
Britt was in her car Saturday morning near the crash site when it caught fire and suffered burns on approximately 30% of her body.
A Gofundme has been set up to assist the family with medical expenses.
