Man Accused Of Killing Mandeville Police Captain Pleads Not Guilty

The man accused of killing Mandeville Police Captain Vincent Liberto is pleading not guilty.

According to reports released yesterday, Mark Spicer, Jr. entered the not guilty plea to charges including first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder charge, aggravated flight from an officer, obstruction of justice, and illegal possession of stolen firearms.

Spicer is accused of killing Captain Liberto and wounding another officer following a high-speed chase on September 20th, 2019.
