State Education Superintendent John White Announces Resignation

The Louisiana Superintendent of Education is stepping down from his post this coming March.

John White announced yesterday that he will be resigning from his position that he held for eight years.

Board of Education and Second Education Vice President Doctor Holly Boffy released a statement thanking White for his dedicated service to the state.

The news comes just two days after Department of Health Secretary Doctor Rebekah Gee announced that she would be resigning effective January 31st.
