A man who has already been convicted of two murders is now confessing to a third.
Authorities say Darnell Braud was handed a 25-year prison term yesterday in connection with the death of Jarivas Jarrow on May 24th, 2018, securing himself a 140-year sentence.
According to officials, Braud shot Jarrow in front of Jarrow's girlfriend and two toddler sons after the two men were seen arguing with each other at a corner store in the Leonidas neighborhood.
Orleans Parish Criminal District Court Judge Franz Zibilich says the 29-year-old will not be eligible for early release as he has pled guilty twice before for manslaughter in both 2007 and 2017.
