Five krewes are set to hold parades this evening in New Orleans, Mandeville, and Metairie.
The first parades will start tonight at 6 p.m. with the Knights of Excalibur rolling through Metairie, while the Krewe of Oshun and the Krewe of Cleopatra will roll through the streets of Uptown.
At 7 p.m., the Krewe of Eve's parade will take place in Mandeville at the same time Krewe of Alla will follow a similar route taken by Oshun and Cleopatra.
The rest of the weekend will be packed with more parades with 12 scheduled on Saturday and eight more set for Sunday.
