Kennedy Urges Restraint After Trump's Stone Tweet, Barr Interview

President Donald Trump Holds Campaign Rally In Shreveport, Louisiana

One of Louisiana's U.S. Senators is urging President Trump to restrain himself after the controversy involving Roger Stone.

Appearing on CBS' Face The Nation, Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana said the President could tweet about a case, but that doesn't mean he should.

Kennedy compared the situation to having a voice like Mick Jagger, but not singing "Honky Tonk Woman" in church.

Kennedy's comments come after Trump criticized prosecutors on Twitter for recommending Stone spend up to nine years in prison.

Attorney General Bill Barr responded that those kind of tweets make it "impossible" for him to do his job.
