Three krewes are scheduled tonight for parades through New Orleans as officials deal with the death of a woman last night during the Krewe of Nyx parade.
Crowd safety will be heightened tonight following the accident when a woman died while trying to cross between floats.

The first parade tonight will start tonight at 5:30 p.m. with the Knights of Babylon rolling from Magazine Street to Canal, followed at 6:15 p.m. by the Knights of Chaos whose route will end at University Place.
The final parade tonight will start at 6:30 p.m. with the Krewe of Muses led by honorary muse Jennifer Coolidge who is known for her acting roles in films like American Pie, Best in Show, and Legally Blonde, as well as the TV comedy Two Broke Girls.
