The family of Joseph Sampson is launching a GoFundMe for his funeral expenses.
Members of his family announced that they would be starting a page for Sampson, who was tragically run over by a tandem float during the Endymion parade over the weekend.
Sampson's death was the second float-related fatality this carnival season, with Geraldine Carmouche passing away in a similar manner during the NYX parade last Wednesday.
The donation goal was set at $3,000 and has surpassed that amount.
