The Louisiana Department of Health says all of the people tested for the COVID-19 coronavirus in the state have come back negative.
Officials released updated information over the weekend on the 11 Louisiana area patients who underwent testing under the CDC's guidelines.
The Health Department also said it had received in-state testing kits, which will help them get results faster than having to send samples out of state to the CDC.
There have been over 500 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States, with the closest to Louisiana being two cases in the Florida Panhandle near Pensacola.
