Loyola University New Orleans College of Law is adding new master's degree programs in environmental and health law.

Dean and professor Madeleine M. Landrieu announced in a news release that the new programs are meant to attract both recent college graduates and experienced employees who are looking to advance their careers.

According to school officials, the master's in health law and administration will include client work, management training, and classes about policy, preparing students for management jobs in hospitals and other facilities.

It will also give recent graduates a chance to look at a variety of possible careers and give professionals a way to learn more about healthcare while they continue to work.
