The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office is confirming the resignation of four top-ranked officials.
The OPSO released a statement on Monday saying Major Edwin Hosli, Lieutenant Joseph Catalanotto, along with Agents Daniel Denoux and Kerri Lynch left the department last Friday.
Officials declined to elaborate further, saying as a matter of policy, the OPSO does not comment on personnel matters.
The departures come at an unfortunate time for the OPSO, which is facing workforce shortages and currently has 38 employees out due to concerns over the coronavirus.
