The Occupational Health and Safety Administration is handing down violations to entities involved in the construction of the Hard Rock Hotel.
OHSA documents released yesterday revealed two citations being sent to Heaslip Engineering for violations discovered by the agency during their inspection in November.
OHSA's findings showed floor beams on the 16th level were not strong enough to support the weight they were supporting, and beams on the 17th and 18th levels were spaced too far apart.
An attorney representing Heaslip Engineering denied any wrongdoing and says the firm will appeal the violations.
