Louisiana is just days away from exceeding its ventilator capacity.

Governor John Bel Edwards tells CNN's State of the Union the capacity could be surpassed by Thursday.

Edwards said some additional ventilators arrived in Louisiana Saturday.

On the subject of whether he should've canceled Mardi Gras, Edwards said there were no suggestions that the event be called off.

At least 477 people have passed away from the disease.
