City buses and streetcars are no longer operating at night.

In a statement over the weekend, officials announced that they are suspending overnight service until further notice as part of the latest public transit service reduction made by the city to minimize the risk of coronavirus for riders and operators.

According to reports, any routes set to begin overnight will instead start at 4 a.m. and any routes starting later than that will keep their original schedule.

In addition, fares for all streetcars and buses have been waived until further notice, to maintain social distancing.
