An act of kindness from New Orleans native Tyler Perry is being carried on by the parent company of Winn-Dixie.
Southeastern Grocers paid for the groceries last night of numerous health care professionals and first responders in seven southeastern states.
The company praised Perry for his generosity last week when he bought groceries at Winn-Dixie stores in Louisiana for people who have a high risk of getting the coronavirus.
