New Orleans Native Rapper To Pay Rent For Residents In Uptown

Rapper Bryan Williams, known by the stage name Birdman, is giving back to the community where he grew up.

Williams posted on Instagram this week that he would pay May's rent for struggling residents in Uptown close to where he was raised.

Williams also called on New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell to support his efforts and thanked workers on the front lines of the pandemic.

Williams is best known for his work with artists like Lil Wayne, Drake, and Niki Minaj through the record label he founded called Cash Money Records.
