Carnival Cruise Lines says they are canceling all of their cruises scheduled to leave from New Orleans this summer.

The company made the announcement yesterday, canceling trips from June 27th until July 31st while releasing a new-phased plan for ships departing after August 1st.

Carnival says it will resume operations in Galveston, Miami, and Port Canaveral, but all other North American homeports like Port NOLA and lines leaving Australia will remain closed until August 31st.

Guests who had already booked travel for canceled cruises are being offered a full refund or a credit towards a future package.
