The U.S. Navy's elite flight demonstration squadron, The Blue Angels, are planning to do a flyover tomorrow in New Orleans.
The group tweeted on Monday that New Orleans is scheduled for a flyby on Wednesday afternoon around 1:45 p.m. as a salute to workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last week the U.S. Air Force and Louisiana National Guard flew a group of jets over Baton Rouge and New Orleans for the same reason.
Formed in 1946, the Blue Angels feature the best Navy and Marine pilots in the military flying F-18 Hornet fighters for public service missions.
