University of New Orleans President John Nicklow says the school will re-open its campus for the fall semester.

Nicklow spoke yesterday, saying students will be brought back to the classrooms under a plan to prioritize safety.

Several changes coming to in-person learning at the University will include social distancing in auditoriums and a hybrid approach that could see face-to-face instruction one day and then the next day classes streamed to a residence hall.

Nicklow also said face masks would be required, and fraternity, sorority, and other gatherings will be restricted.
