Most of Louisiana's state parks are set to re-open today under new social distancing guidelines.

Officials say 18 of the 21 state parks will be open to Louisiana residents only as out-of-state bookings are still prohibited at this time.

Reservations must be placed to use campsites, cabins, large capacity lodges, meeting rooms, and group camps.

Chico State Park, Lake Bistineau State Park, and Bayou Segnette State Park will remain closed to the public while they continue to be used to house COVID-19 patients.
