A crane at the site of the collapsed Hard Rock Hotel is gone as crews work to demolish three buildings at the location.
The crane was removed yesterday from North Rampart Street, where it had been since last October, by workers with cutting torches.
Three structures will need to come down before the rest of the hotel can be safely demolished, and heavy equipment for the job is expected to be in place soon.
Plans are still being worked out to extract the bodies of two workers killed in the accident who remain buried in the rubble.
