The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has announced the capture of a suspect wanted in a brutal attack on an employee at a Little Caesar's Pizza in Harvey.
Deputies say the woman was working at the store in the 1600 block of Gretna Blvd. around 9 p.m. last Saturday when Tyrone Constant came in and the two began talking.
During the conversation, Constant pulled out a long knife and attacked her before fleeing the scene, leaving the woman with severe but not life-threatening injuries.
A JPSO deputy patrolling near the intersection of Manhattan and Lapalco Wednesday morning spotted Constant and arrested him on an attempted second degree murder charge.
