New Orleans Mayor: City Will Not Move To Phase Two

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell says the city will not move to Phase Two of the state's re-opening on Friday.

Cantrell spoke yesterday before Governor Edwards announced more businesses could resume operating with larger capacities later this week.

Cantrell said New Orleans is watching the data and not the date, and their numbers do not show enough evidence yet to allow more re-openings.

Cantrell said it could be several more weeks before New Orleans is ready to move to guidelines laid out under Phase Two.
