Emergency Declaration Approved For Louisiana Due To Cristobal

President Trump is approving an emergency declaration for Louisiana due to the effects of Tropical Storm Cristobal.

The President sent out a tweet on Sunday morning saying he was supporting the measure as requested by Louisiana Senators John Kennedy and Bill Cassidy and that FEMA was already in place.

Governor John Bel Edwards and multiple Parish Officials also made similar declarations to better coordinate local responses to the storm.
