Over 900 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Thursday By LDH

The number of COVID-19 cases in Louisiana continued to grow on Thursday, with the Louisiana Department of Health reporting 938 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 53,415.

LDH again said the majority of new cases are being blamed on community spread.

The number of those hospitalized grew by 22 to 653. Of those, 77 remain on ventilators.

The death toll increased by 12 to 3,051.
